Licensing
Right Health Coverage is an independent insurance brokerage. Coverage is discussed and arranged only by advisors holding an active health insurance producer license in the state where the applicant resides. An advisor who is not licensed in your state will not discuss plan specifics with you.
Not a government agency
Right Health Coverage is not a government agency and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operating on behalf of HealthCare.gov, any state-based health insurance exchange, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal or state program. This website is not a government website.
Not an insurance company
We do not underwrite, issue, price or administer insurance policies. Policies are issued by the insurance carrier, and the carrier’s policy documents — not anything on this site — determine what is covered.
How we are compensated
There is no fee for the coverage review, and no obligation to enroll. If you choose to enroll in a plan through us, the issuing carrier or its distributor pays a commission. That is how the brokerage is funded.
Because commissions differ between products, you are entitled to be skeptical of anyone in this industry. Our position is straightforward: we will tell you when a subsidized ACA marketplace plan, Medicaid, Medicare, COBRA or an employer plan is the better answer for your household, even though we are not paid when you take that advice. Our comparison pages say so in writing.
Plan availability
Not every plan type is available in every state, county or situation, and availability can change. Plans discussed on this site are generally medically underwritten, which means acceptance is not guaranteed and health history affects both eligibility and price.
Figures shown on this site
Every premium, deductible, copay, out-of-pocket maximum and savings figure shown on this website is provided to explain how categories of coverage differ. It is not an offer, and it is not a statement of what any particular person will pay. Actual figures vary by age, location, household, health history, carrier and plan.
